💥 Precision Rifleman: Practical Scoped Rifle Mastery 💥

Precision Rifleman is a practical field precision rifle course designed to help shooters build real-world  capability with their scoped rifle beyond traditional flat-range or benchrest shooting. This course evolved from Patriot Training’s earlier “Citizen Sniper” and "Hike N Shoot" coursework while expanding its focus on practical precision riflecraft, positional shooting, and accountable hits under realistic conditions.

Training is built around measurable shooter improvement, not instructor identity, tactical theatrics, or training mythology.

Students will learn to make accurate, repeatable hits from 100 to 500 yards by developing stable shooting positions, refining recoil control, managing ballistic data, reading wind conditions, and applying holdover solutions with confidence. Training emphasizes practical problem-solving and adaptable field shooting skills that transfer beyond the square range into defensive, competitive, hunting, and practical field applications.

Unlike traditional bench-focused precision rifle classes, Precision Rifleman emphasizes practical shooting positions, improvised support methods, rapid target engagement, recoil management, communication, and accountable shot placement under realistic conditions and time pressure.

Students are encouraged to measure their own performance growth over time and return periodically to refine capability as both equipment and skill continue to evolve.

This class is right for you if:

✅ You prefer a class environment built around mentorship, camaraderie, approachable instructors, and continuous improvement rather than ego or intimidation.

✅ You want to develop the ability to make consistent precision hits from 100 to 500 yards using practical field shooting positions.

✅ You want to move beyond benchrest-style shooting and build real confidence with a scoped rifle in dynamic conditions.

✅ You’re ready to learn wind reading, holdovers, ballistic data management, and practical rifle problem-solving with reduced guesswork.

✅ You want to build stable, adaptable shooting positions using terrain, backpacks, tripods, barricades, and improvised support structures.

✅ You want to improve recoil management and shot accountability for faster, more repeatable follow-up shots at distance.

✅ You want practical precision rifle training focused on measurable performance rather than fantasy-role theatrics or internet lore.

Prerequisites:

• Safe gun handling skills

• Ability to manipulate your rifle — loading, unloading, reloading, clearing malfunctions

• A rifle with a scope (MIL or MOA preferred)

INFORMATION

Precision Rifleman is a two-day, progressive scoped-rifle course built around making accurate, accountable hits under practical field conditions. Training begins by establishing a reliable rifle and optic system, confirming zero, and developing the fundamentals necessary for consistent precision.

Students then learn to understand and apply their rifle's external ballistics, developing practical DOPE and using both dialing and holds to solve increasingly distant shooting problems. Range estimation, wind, and environmental conditions are introduced as distance increases and small errors begin to matter.

From there, the emphasis shifts from simply making hits to making them without the luxury of a perfect shooting position. Students build stable positions using their body, sling, bipod, rucksack, barricades, tripods, and other available support while learning to quickly adapt to the terrain and problem in front of them.

As the course progresses, those individual precision-rifle skills are applied under increasing time pressure and in coordinated team exercises, culminating in practical engagements that require students to combine marksmanship, ballistic knowledge, fieldcraft, communication, and decision-making.

Know the rifle. Solve the distance. Build the position. Make the hit.
