This isn’t for weekend plinkers or tacti-cool influencers. Sentinel Rifleman is built for the kind of man who doesn’t ask permission to protect his people. This is where gunfighters with scoped ARs learn to haunt the edges, striking with precision from 0 to 300+ yards and then disappearing into the shadows. Doorways, rooftops, treelines—your world is cluttered with cover and crawling with threats. We train you to move through it like a ghost with a grudge. Fast. Decisive. Purposeful. When the herd runs, the Sentinel holds ground.

You won't find boring paper drills or fantasy tactics here.  Sentinel Rifleman breaks bad habits and builds ruthless precision with clarity.  You’ll refine your zero, tighten your holds, and push your performance across every position—standing, kneeling, prone, and the ugly ones in between. From tight hallways to open terrain, we teach you to shift gears without dropping tempo. This course isn’t about hitting targets. It’s about becoming one that can’t be hit. Alone, unseen, and dialed the hell in—Sentinel Rifleman is where riflemen are carved from chaos.

Prerequisites: NONE

We will obtain a zero on your rifle as part of this class. 

We will also give instruction on proper rifle handling.   

All PATRIOT TRAINING Class pricing includes any applicable range access charges - no surprise "gotcha" fees! 

• AR-15 rifle, preferably chambered in .223/5.56...  13.7" & up length barrel.  
  • If you have an SPR, this is a great class for it! 
  • If you have a GPR, this is a great class for it!
  • If you have a DMR, this is a great class for it! 
  • Loaners available!  (Please bring factory 55 gr brass cased .223 Rem or 5.56 mm ammo)
  • .308 or 6.5CM in an AR10 platform are permitted. 
• OPTIC: 4x or greater magnification.  
  • The IDEAL optic for an AR platform is a low power variable optic (LPVO). 1-4x, 1-6x, 1-8x, etc. 
  • Also GREAT is an MPVO (Mid-power variable optic) such as 2-10x or similar. 
  • ACOGs, Elcans, and Prisms do VERY well in this class! - 4x, 5x, etc. 
  • Red dots + magnifiers welcome.
  • Iron sights only / red dot only - If you dare!
• 4+ magazines, minimum. Please prep mags ahead of class. (a handful of AR-15 loaner magazines will be available) 
• 500 rounds of ammo, minimum - same brand / same type. 600+ rounds is ideal.
• Eye protection & ear protection.
• Training kit STRONGLY suggested:
  • Chest Rig + a Rucksack
  • OR
  • Battle Belt + Rucksack
  • OR
  • LBE Kit
• The standard items listed at the bottom of the page. 
• Range appropriate clothing - military style camo is suggested (not required). 
• Shemagh suggested (not required).
• Food & Water
• Notepad and Pen
• Sunscreen & bug spray
• Sight adjustment tools for your rifle
• If you wear prescription lenses / glasses - BRING THEM!  

STRICTLY OPTIONAL

• Pistol / mags / ammo - we won't use it, but it is not forbidden. 
• Plate carriers / body armor - we won't use it, but it is not forbidden.
• Bipod - you'll have to tote it around everywhere and do close work with it. 

DO NOT BRING TO CLASS

• Green tip or armor piercing ammo - we will be shooting steel targets. 
• Steel cased ammo for AR-15s - you will hate yourself. 
• Hand loaded or remanufactured ammunition. Bring factory ammo only. 
• Mixed brands/types of ammo - bring a single brand and type
• Do not bring a Bolt Action rifle to Sentinel Rifleman. 
• Do not bring a PCC to Sentinel Rifleman
• Do not bring a .300 Blackout caliber rifle to Sentinel Rifleman. 
• Do not bring an AK or SKS to Sentinel Rifleman - they will struggle mightily. 

FITNESS LEVEL REQUIRED

You will be walking up to a mile or more each day in class. You will need to be able to bend, kneel, go prone, etc. You will be carrying your rifle and a patrol pack part of the day each day. If there is a flexibility issue, we will try to accommodate.

Registration closes two weeks prior to class.   

REFUND / RESCHEDULE / TRANSFER POLICY

REFUNDS

Patriot Training does NOT offer Refunds. 

* Tuition sale is final and is a commitment to train with Patriot Training at the date and time scheduled.

* Tuition paid guarantees your spot in class. Patriot Training does not overbook. 

* Your payment secures a spot in a specific class, and nothing more. Patriot Training cannot and does not guarantee individual performance or results. Therefore, failure to pass a course (such as a carry permit evaluation) does not qualify for a refund.  

* Patriot Training does not offer refunds, reschedules, or transfers to students who fail to show up for class. If you decide not to attend, that’s your decision. 

* This policy is firm and there will be no exceptions.

*  Due to safety concerns, all Sig P320 variants are banned from use in class. No refunds will be issued based on this policy. 

Why? 

- Because if you decide the day before class that you don't like the weather forecast (or insert whatever excuse here), we will not have time to sell that spot to a serious participant that has been turned away. 

RESCHEDULE

Cannot make a class and need to reschedule to a future class? You may reschedule for the same class (i.e. Urban Rifleman for Urban Rifleman) in the future for a reasonable processing fee. You must reschedule no later than Thursday at 6:00 pm prior to the start of the class you cannot make. Naturally, there must be a future offering on the schedule, and once you select the date, that date will be locked in. Future reschedules will also require an additional processing fee. LIMITED TRANSFERS

Can't make the class and want to transfer (give/sell) your spot to someone else?

If you want to transfer, sell, or give your seat to someone else, that’s entirely up to you and is fine by us. 

You must notify us no later than Thursday, 6:00 pm, prior.  

If that person cannot make it, the same no refund policy applies.

In the unlikely event Patriot Training is forced to cancel a class, refunds and reschedules will be offered.
