INFORMATION

Essential Revolver is a structured program designed to build practical, fight-ready revolver skills.

Students will learn proper grip for double-action control, sight discipline with shorter sight radius guns, and recoil management for lightweight defensive revolvers. From there, we apply those fundamentals to realistic drills that stress accuracy, efficiency, and decision-making.

This course addresses the realities of running a revolver defensively:

• Long, consistent double-action trigger presses
• Efficient ejection and reloading under time pressure
• Managing five or six or seven rounds intelligently
• Diagnosing mechanical issues unique to revolvers

The revolver is mechanically simple. It is not easy to master.

By the end of this course, students walk away with increased confidence, deeper mechanical understanding, and measurable performance improvements with their defensive revolver.

WHY OFFER A DEDICATED REVOLVER CLASS?

💥Because revolvers demand different skills than semi-autos.

💥They require stronger trigger discipline.
💥More deliberate ammunition management.
💥More efficient reload mechanics.

💥In Essential Pistol, revolvers are not allowed because they require a different instructional focus and round count structure.

💥If you want to run your wheel gun correctly — this is the class designed for it.

Why does Patriot Training not allow Serpa Holsters?

Because they fail, and they get people shot. Please see our FAQ page for details and links!
