The #1 cause of preventable death after injury is bleeding. 

The purpose of Essential Medical 1 & 2 is to prepare you to save lives on the worst day of your life. By stopping catastrophic bleeding from yourself or others, you can prevent unnecessary loss of life. 

There are two Essential Medical Classes:

Essential Medical 1

Essential Medical 2

What is the difference?

Essential Pistol 1 is a 2-3 hour class. 

Essential Pistol 2 is an 8-hour class. 

Essential Medical 1 takes inspiration from Stop The Bleed. In this 2-hour class, you will learn how to stop catastrophic bleeding.  

There will some hands-on practice in Essential Medical 1  

Essential Medical 1 will be offered in conjunction with most Essential Pistol Classes

• Under 18 welcome with participating parent / guardian. 

Video and audio recording of class is prohibited, with the sole exception of YouTube content creators with advance written permission.

Using information from Stop the Bleed, TCCC, and real life experience gained from the military and life as a Paramedic, the Patriot Training medical team has created a full-day Essential Medical Class. This class is featured in our Essential Pistol & Medical class. 

The objective of the full day long Essential Medical 2 is to teach how to Assess, Identify, Plan, and take Action when there is serious injury. You will learn to assess airway, circulation, breathing, perform triage, and more!

There will be a LOT of hands-on practice in this class.

* 100 rounds pistol ammunition

* Must be taking or have taken Essential Pistol.
